Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health invites a CT Technologist to join the night shift at our Pueblo West facility. You will review patient history and initiate CT imaging per orders, while safely handling contrast media and monitoring patient condition throughout procedures.

Join a team focused on imaging quality, safety, and rapid response in a dynamic ED CT & X-ray setting, with travel package opportunities and local travel options for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• One year of experience.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in CT by ARRT.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS/CPR card required and valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and initiates CT images per physician orders.
• Safely administers contrast media and monitors patient condition.
• Represents changes in patient condition and reports as appropriate.
• Applies best practices in radiology to ensure image clarity, QC, and equipment functionality.
• Performs 3-D post-processing and reports results.

Work Schedule:Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift:Nights

Pay:$50.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles

13 week assignments available

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• One year of experience
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

CT Technologist:

• Reviews patient history, initiates Computed Tomography images based on physician order and prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation
• Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition
• Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate
• implements techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART)
• May perform 3-D post processing while entering, transmitting and reporting scan results
