Dayton Children's Hospital in Ohio is seeking a Part-time CT/XR Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging on patients of all ages using CT and XR equipment across multiple outpatient locations. You will work with radiology staff to ensure quality images and patient safety while complying with regulations.

• HSD/GED required and an associate degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences.
• Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health required.

• CPR certification and patient safety focus required.
• Willingness to work across multiple locations and shifts.

Tasks are performed with minimal supervision and with strict adherence to quality parameters as determined by the department. Technologists independently perform or assist the licensed independent practitioner in the completion of radiographic procedures. Technologists prepare, administer, and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy. Technologists educate patients and their parents regarding procedures performed and safety within the CT department. Technologists are responsible in part for performance of the organization’s systems and processes while continuing to recognize the importance of the individual competence of staff. Technologists are responsible for maintaining CPR certification, Ohio Licensure, and ARRT registration, in addition to participation in hospital wide mandatory education. The CT technologist recognizes and advocates for each patient being an individual with unique healthcare needs and provides considerate, respectful care affirming the patient’s right to make decisions regarding his/her medical care. The CT technologist works with radiology staff and other departments to provide a smooth continuum of care for individual patients. Works with student technologists to assure a positive learning experience while on clinical rotations at the hospital.**Department Specific Job Details:****Shift:*** This will cover XR and CT shifts at our Outpatient locations and Main Campus - Locations include Springboro, Centerville, Beavercreek, Huber, Troy, Springfield and Main Campus.* Must be willing to cover all locations - Main, South and Off-sites.* XR at all locations.
