Job summary

Northwell Health's Sharon Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray and CT imaging in the CT Scan department. The candidate should hold an AS or accredited program degree, be licensed in CT RT per CT State guidelines, and maintain ARRT certification.

Candidates should be comfortable with manual dexterity demands and medium to heavy physical effort, including exertion up to 35 lbs. Occupational risks exist and the role is on-site in Sharon, CT.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Tech Program.
• CT State RT license (new Graduates under the CT Temporary Practice Provisions considered).
• Valid ARRT.
• Prefer candidates willing to work in X-Ray and CT Scan.
• Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity.
• Occupational: Some occupational risk.
• Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs.
• Physical Environment: Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
