UF Health is hiring a CT/Xray Technologist located in Leesburg, Florida. The technologist will perform imaging procedures and ensure high-quality patient care following established protocols. The role requires certification as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Florida and proficiency in minimizing radiation exposure.

The ideal candidate will have completed post-high school training in Radiology and be a graduate from an accredited Radiology school. Additional qualifications include ARRT(R) certification, and BLS certification is required.

• Cross-trained in Cat Scan.

Overview

Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. Under the direction of the supervisor, this position must perform all functions related to multiple modalities: including CT or Xray and general Radiology Technologist duties. The CT/Xray Technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
  • Cross-trained in Cat Scan
• Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer qualifications license required (Computer Tomography qualifications preferred)
  • ARRT(R) required
  • ARRT(CT) preferred
  • BLS required
• Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
