Job summary

Stephens County Hospital in Toccoa, GA is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist for full time, 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm). Under the direction of a Radiologist and Supervisor, you will perform diagnostic CT and radiology imaging exams with independence and professional judgment.

The ideal candidate has ARRT registration, completion of a Radiologic Technology program, and provides compassionate patient care across age groups.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program in good standing with the ARRT.
• Registered Radiology Technologist; CT experience preferred.
• Competence in radiographic procedures and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Checks patient identifiers prior to exam and ensures accurate identification.
• Performs radiographic and CT exams with independent judgment according to physician specifications.
• Maintains safety standards and proper immobilization for procedures.
• Verifies studies on PACS and documents procedures accurately.
• Maintains daily logs and coordinates with radiology staff to optimize workflow.
