Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology Program.
• Knowledge of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning.
• Ability to follow instructions, plan, and organize work efficiently.
• Licensure as ARRT(R), with BLS certification within 14 days of hire; new graduates should obtain certification within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures following physician requests and safety standards.
• Select appropriate technical settings and develop treatment plans.
• Document procedures to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Maintain equipment and work areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and collect performance data.
• Provide basic bedside care and support in emergency and inpatient settings, assisting with patient stabilization and monitoring changes in condition.
• Collect laboratory samples, performing tests per CLIA regulations, and maintaining lab equipment.
• Prepare patient meals as ordered and support registration procedures.
