Qualifications

• Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is mandatory.
• IV Contrast certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares radiological area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Positions patients for x-rays and explains procedures.
• Administers general and specialized x-rays as needed.
• Maintains inventory and records of supplies for operational viability.
• Coordinates daily activities for workflow efficiency.
