Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent plus one year of related experience.

• ER hospital experience preferred.
• Awareness of exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CT equipment to obtain detailed images.
• Position patients accurately for scans.
• Run routine warm-up procedures on CT scanner.
• Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment.
• Follow physician scanning instructions.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Assess CT scans for technical quality.
• Explain procedures and reassure patients.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiologic supplies and report shortages.
