Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Franklin, NC. The CT Tech will perform imaging duties, prepare patients, and ensure quality scans while adhering to safety standards. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT registration, BLS, and any state licensing as needed.

Expect a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. Compensation includes a tax-free stipend and a comprehensive benefits package through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT experience required
• AR R T (CT) certification with registration
• BLS and state licensing as applicable

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and explain procedures to patients
• Interpret doctors' instructions accurately
• Position patients for CT scans
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed
• Evaluate image quality for diagnostic usefulness
• Follow radiation safety procedures
• Maintain patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system to manage images
