Job summary

Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, KY is seeking a CT Technologist to expertly capture diagnostic CT images that support Radiologists in accurate diagnoses. You will perform cross-sectional imaging of the skeleton, organs, and tissues with attention to patient comfort during the imaging process.

Responsibilities include adhering to imaging protocols, maintaining patient safety, and contributing to quality assurance and ongoing professional development in radiologic technology and CT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• KY Medical Radiographer certification on hire and ARRT registration within 12 months.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to patient age as applicable.
• Perform CT procedures following radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Adhere to national patient safety goals and report any compliance matters.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain professional development for technical competency.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

This position is eligible for up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus AND $24,000 Student Loan Assistance

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.

• Other Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, upon hire and
• Medical Radiographer: KY, upon hire and
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, within 12 - months and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days

Preferred

• Previous experience in CT not essential for all positions, upon hire
