Memorial Health Meadows Hospital is seeking a weekend-only day shift CT Technologist to join our Radiology team in Vidalia, GA. You will perform CT exams under supervision, ensuring ALARA and image gently guidelines are followed, and mentor tech apprentices as part of a professional patient-care environment.

The successful candidate will hold a Radiology Technology certificate, ARRT-CT licensure, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or GED.

• Participate in on-call back-up schedule after hours.
• Report equipment malfunctions and assist with service logs.
• Attend monthly department meetings.

We are seeking a weekend only day shift CT Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs CT examinations and special procedures under the guidance and direction of the Radiologist and CT Supervisor. Operates equipment safely, maintains ALARA standards, follows image gently/ image wisely recommendations as well as all regulatory bodies and ACR standards. Provides mentoring and training to Tech Apprentices and Radiologic Technology students. Establishes and maintains a professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and the medical staff. The employee provides consistent quality patient care during the patients visit to the Radiology Department.

What you will do in this role:

• Document in Radiology RIS system upon the completion of exams.
• Call or fax preliminary "wet read" reports to appropriate locations. Uses "Read Back and Verified" policy.
• Abides by the "Code of Ethics" of a technologist set forth by the state and national ARRT & ASRT governing bodies.
• Checks work areas at the beginning and end of shift for work supplies and cleanliness.
• Keeps supervisor notified of supply levels and is watchful of maintaining par levels without overstocking supplies.
• Participates in the on-call back-up schedule for needs after hours.
• Immediately reports equipment malfunctions to supervisors and assists in maintaining service call logs.
• Attends and participates in monthly departmental meetings

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical School Diploma or Certificate in: - Radiology Technology required
• Current National Licensure in: - (ARRT-CT) Computer Tomography required
• CPR Certification required
