Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Director and Manager of Imaging Services, performs healthcare services applying x-ray energy and computer techniques for diagnostics or treatment. Performs CT procedures, demonstrates sectional images, exercises professional judgment, and provides appropriate patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography procedures.
  • Acquire and format exams with clinical history.
  • Plan and manage patient volume and examinations.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked department.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Required: Graduate from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Preferred: 1-year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Licenses and Certificates

  • Required: ARRT certification and advanced CT registry within 90 days; current MRT license.
  • Preferred: 1-year experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
