Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and support radiology exams under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will explain procedures to patients, gather history, and ensure accurate data entry into the Radiology Information System.

The role entails weekend shifts (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, 8p–8a) with a $10/hr weekend incentive, contributing to high-quality diagnostic imaging within the Jefferson Health network.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months experience or training in CT imaging.
• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
• ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explain radiographic procedures to patients and collect accurate history.
• Perform diagnostic CT examinations including room prep as needed.
• Enter patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.
• Under Radiologist direction, operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images.

Job Description

• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and collects accurate patient history.
• Performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
• Properly enters patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.
• Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce CT images of the body for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months experience and/or training required
• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program
• ARRT certification required

This position may be eligible for conversion to a Trainee role, subject to the team’s capacity and availability of resources to support cross‑training. Trainee opportunities are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis. Individuals accepted into a Trainee role must sign an on‑the‑job training agreement. All required certifications must be obtained in accordance with the department’s training program requirements; failure to meet these requirements may result in termination.
