Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality results.

This Weekend - Overnight position runs 8:30pm to 7:00am with no call, and offers tuition reimbursement up to $2,000, relocation assistance up to $6,000 for full-time, health/dental/vision coverage after day one, a Dependent Care FSA, 401k with match, and paid PTO for volunteering.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with clinical hours completed.
• ARRT registry or eligibility to achieve registry within 6 months if applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire may be required.

Position Details Mercy Hospital Springfield - Inpatient Nights: 8:30pm to 7:00AM No call

Overview The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.
• Experience: No experience required
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
