Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care in Southaven, MS, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures in alignment with radiology practice standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements include ARRT registration in Radiography, CT registry preferred, BLS within 30 days of hire, and state license as required; at least 6 months CT experience; new graduates must obtain registry within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in CT to meet CT competencies at end of orientation.
• ARRT(R) Radiography registration required; CT registry preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of radiologic principles/theory and uses appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans.
• Completes documentation to comply with hospital policies.
• Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care quality.
• Completes assigned goals.
