Job summary

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams in accordance with ARRT standards and hospital policies. The role requires ARRT CT certification, Florida RT license, and BLS within 30 days. Shift is Fri–Sun 6p–6:30a in the Auburndale/Winter Haven area, with a strong emphasis on patient care and radiation safety.

1 year CT Technologist experience preferred; comprehensive benefits and a supportive imaging team are offered as part of the HCA Healthcare system.

Qualifications

• AR RT CT certification required.
• Florida RT license required.
• 1 year CT Technologist experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to ARRT standards and department policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, disease processes, patient care and radiographic techniques.
• Verify written orders match requisitions prior to exams.
• Follow exam protocols and administer contrast materials as needed.
• Manage patient flow to prioritize and optimize exam throughput.
• Communicate critical information to the interpreting radiologist promptly.
• Maintain a clean, well-supplied, and compliant imaging department.
