Job summary

Mercy Clinic Springfield is seeking a CT Technologist for an inpatient setting on the night shift (Friday to Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM). The role requires operating CT imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality images.

Qualification includes graduation from an accredited imaging program, completion of clinical hours, and ARRT registry or registry eligibility with BLS within 30 days of hire. Prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.
• Experience: no experience required.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: ARRT registry OR Registry eligible; complete within 6 months of eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures to aid diagnosis and treatment.

Overview

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
