Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is hiring a CT Tech for weekend evenings to perform CT procedures across all patient ages. You will position patients, select appropriate protocols, and ensure high-quality imaging in a fast-paced imaging department.

The role requires radiologic technologist certification with ARRT registration, 6 months of experience preferred, and a strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. BLS certification is required, and a commitment to Safe care and AIDET is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA approved radiologic technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• Minimum 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Registered by the ARRT and BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures on patients of all ages following standard imaging protocols.
• Position patients, select protocols, and operate imaging equipment accurately.
• Adhere to radiation safety policies and dose reduction practices.
• Provide patient education and communicate clearly with the care team.
• Maintain competencies in all non-scanner related components and QA procedures.
