This part-time weekend role requires 1-2 years of radiologic program experience; CT experience is preferred. Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with CT certification eligibility within 6 months and BCLS within 90

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical radiologic sciences experience from an accredited program.
• 2-4 years CT Technologist experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist and CT certification or eligibility within 6 months; BCLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images per protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures.
• Verify patient identity and physician orders; screen for contraindications.
• Perform point-of-care creatinine testing and monitor contrast safety.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide post-exam instructions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure timely care.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures as needed.
• Review images for quality and communicate findings to the radiologist.
• Document patient history and correlate with imaging studies.
