Job summary

Vibra Travels seeks a CT technologist in Marquette, MI to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images and coordinate the imaging workflow for timely radiology reporting. You will prepare patients, position them correctly, and ensure high-quality scans in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The role requires ARRT certification, CT technology certification, state license, and BLS with hospital experience preferred. Travel-ready professionals are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT required.
• Current, valid, and active certification/licensure to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
• CT Technology certificate program required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels approved vendor required.
• Two years of prior CT/radiology experience preferred (hospital setting)

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, quality-oriented radiologic imaging and transmit to radiologist.
• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs and tissue for diagnosis.
• Explain procedures and position patients to ensure accurate image capture as requested by physician.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing efficient, quality-oriented patient care by producing quality diagnostic radiographs to assist medical personnel in patient diagnosis in a timely and professional manner when ordered by a physician, and effectively coordinating the process for ordering the procedure and transmitting the images to the radiologist. CT technologists, operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. In addition to conducting scans, CT technologists prepare patients for these diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ARRT required.
• Current, valid, and active certification/licensure to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
• Completion of CT Technology certificate program required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Two (2) years previous experience preferred.
• Hospital experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
