A medical staffing agency is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time, in-office role in Roswell, NM. This position involves providing diagnostic services to patients under radiologist supervision and performing various imaging procedures, including CT scans. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited AMA school and registered with the ARRT. The ideal candidate should exhibit proficiency in CT scanning and possess strong knowledge of anatomy for effective imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
• Ability to perform portable radiographic procedures and C-arm procedures.
• Experience with fluoroscopy and OR imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Perform advanced diagnostic procedures including CT of head/brain and abdomen/pelvis.
• Demonstrate knowledge of processing of CT system and surgical/sterile procedures.

Skills

Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT Scanning

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

Basic radiographic procedures

Education

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.
