Job summary

Qualifications

  • Graduate of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • Must be enrolled in a qualified Computed Tomography program.
  • Experience with Pediatrics and Cardiac preferred but not necessary.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Current ARRT License.
  • Current NJ-RADTECH License.
  • ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography preferred; if not at time of hire, within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CAT scan procedures following protocols established by the radiologist and operate the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department.
  • Maintains the work area by reporting Maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies, and deficient.
  • Participates in Clinical activities and adheres to all infection prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed.
