Job summary

Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a CT Technologist - CT Scan on a Per Diem basis with variable shifts. The position involves performing pediatric and adult CT scans under the supervision of Radiologists and department leadership.

Qualified applicants will be graduates of an accredited radiologic program, California RT, and hold ARRT credentials in Radiography and CT, with at least two years of hospital or outpatient imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• California Radiologic Technologist.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
• 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards utilizing age-specific criteria.
• Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff.
• Participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities.
• Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists.
• Participates in call schedule and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs.
