Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a CT imaging specialist for a contract assignment in California. You will operate CT scanners to generate diagnostic images, prepare patients, and assist with general radiography and fluoroscopy when needed.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT certification, California CRT license, and current BLS. You will join a collaborative radiology team focused on high‑quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT preferred.
• California CRT license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with CT and related imaging modalities.

Job description

Step into a specialized imaging role performing advanced diagnostics with a focus on computed tomography (CT). This contract opportunity centers on operating state-of-the-art CT equipment to create detailed cross-sectional images of patients bones, organs, and tissues, providing crucial information for the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. In addition, youll assist with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures, offering a varied and dynamic workday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout
• Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed
• Accurately follow physician instructions for proper imaging protocols
• Evaluate images for technical quality before submitting for physician review
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with facility protocols
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines for radiation dosage and equipment use
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical team members to ensure optimal patient care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology
• ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
• California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience with computed tomography, with flexibility to conduct additional imaging procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and teamwork
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing the highest quality diagnostic images
