Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography Certification/Registration is required.
• State licensure (where required) is needed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT exams on patients using CT equipment.
• Ensures proper patient identification and order verification.
• Reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care.
• Educates patients and assists/mentors students or junior CT Techs.
