Job summary

Iredell is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans across age groups, operate CT equipment, and prepare the room for procedures, with focus on patient comfort and safety. You will assist radiologists, monitor quality control, and ensure timely completion of scanning procedures in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with CT registry preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients during transfer.
• Visual and auditory acuity required for fast-paced work.
• Experience moving and transporting patients and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients across age groups.
• Operate CT equipment, develop films, and prepare CT room for procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures.
• Assist radiologists at a technical level with minimal supervision.
• Monitor quality control and complete CT scanning procedures.
