UF Health in the radiology department seeks a CT Technologist who delivers high-quality CT imaging in a professional, patient-centered manner, working under the director of the Department Manager and with radiologists.

You will minimize radiation exposure, adhere to standards of practice, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe, accurate exams. Must have post-high school training, radiology schooling, and CT licensure/certifications.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• Cross-trained in CT imaging.

Overview

Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The CT Technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

Education:

• Post High School Special Training
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
• Cross-trained in Cat Scan

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer qualifications license required (Computer Tomography qualifications preferred)
• ARRT(R) required
• ARRT(CT) preferred
• BLS required
