Qualifications

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a CT Technologist PRN at the St. David’s Pflugerville FSED location in Balcones, Travis County. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare, in a dynamic and fast-paced freestanding emergency department environment.As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in patient care by performing high-quality computerized tomography scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and working closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging.Key responsibilities for this role include:* Operating CT scanning equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.* Preparing and positioning patients properly for procedures while explaining the process to alleviate anxiety and ensure safety.* Administering contrast materials according to physician protocols and monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.* Maintaining accurate patient records, verifying physician orders, and ensuring adherence to safety, radiation protection, and quality control standards.Compensation for this PRN position is structured at $97,932 per year.
