Job summary

Premier ER & Urgent Care in San Marcos, TX is seeking a Radiologic/CT Technologist for PRN night shifts (7P-7:30A). You will perform radiologic duties, maintain patient safety, and produce diagnostic CT/X-ray images. The role requires ARRT/MRT credentials and prior CT experience.

You will work with providers to deliver quality patient care, ensuring ALARA principles, maintaining equipment, and supporting a collaborative imaging team in a retail healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Current MRT license and ARRT registry required.
• Two years’ CT/X-ray experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ALARA radiation safety and patient protection.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients before exams and assess precautions.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for radiological imaging.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images with proper exposure.
• Protect patients and staff from radiation exposure using ALARA.
• Maintain equipment and documentation, report malfunctions.
• Maintain patient X-Ray files securely and confidentially.
• Assist with CT protocol updates and software upgrades.
• May train new staff and assist with related tasks as needed.
