Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital as a CT Technologist (PRN). You will produce cross-section images to aid diagnosis, interpret instructions, administer contrast as allowed, and position patients for optimal images.

This role supports high-quality, patient-centered care within a renowned health system. As a PRN caregiver, you will work 32 hours every 6 weeks when hours are available, with one holiday per year; no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT in good standing.
• Certification in Computed Tomography within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current state licensure required prior to employment.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide CT imaging and patient care at defined levels for patients of all ages.
• Check and prepare patients prior to CT study.
• Acquire chart data/requisitions and review for correct room setup and contraindications.
• Verify study correlates to diagnostic needs.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams.

Education

Graduate of Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-Registered Radiologic Technologist

CT Certification (ARRT-CT)

BLS Certification

Current state licensure

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
