Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina are seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join the Florence Radiology team. The role focuses on multi-modality imaging, patient instruction and high-quality image production for physician interpretation.

Requirements include ARRT registration, SCRQSA Advanced Modality within 1 year, 1 year radiology experience and current BLS. Works on an 8-hour shift with hourly pay in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 1 year of Radiologic experience.
• Must be registered with ARRT (ARRT).
• SCRQSA license with Advanced Modality registration within 1 year of hire date.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality imaging across modalities and explain procedures to patients.
• Ensure competency and produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.

Job Description

Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology

Work Experience: 1 year of Radiologic experience

Registry/License:

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)




• Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA), and must obtain Advanced Modality registration within 1 year of hire date.




• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
