Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN, is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to perform CT scans and uphold image quality and patient care standards.

You will follow protocols, prepare supplies, gather patient history, and relay information to radiologists. The role includes on-call coverage and maintaining licensure, with emphasis on safety and compassionate patient interaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT certification with advanced registry, or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 6 months.
• 1 year post-graduate experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams following protocols and in a timely manner, ensuring high quality of care.
• Prepare procedure trays with appropriate supplies.
• Take patient history and retrieve orders or prior images.
• Provide patient history, signs, and symptoms appropriate to the exam to the radiologist.
• Maintain all licenses, certifications, and accreditations.
• Coordinate patient flow and check the daily list to ensure all exams are complete.
• Support ALARA principles and communicate with patients about procedures.
• Interact with physicians, patients, and family members.
