Mercyhealth is seeking a CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams, administer contrast, and support radiology workflows. You will review patient history with the radiologist, assist with interventional procedures, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR while maintaining ALARA principles.
This role offers a 40-hour work week with PRN shifts to meet department needs. Applicants should have graduated from an accredited radiography program, ARRT radiography and CT registrations, and
A CT technologist performs CT scans to create detailed images that help doctors diagnose patients. They prepare and give contrast, review patient information, start IVs, operate CT equipment, keep patients safe, and document exam results. They also educate patients, assist radiologists, follow safety rules, and help maintain accurate medical records and images.
SCHEDULE: 40-hours per week
SHIFT: PRN
Works independently with limited direct supervision.
SUPERVISES Provides clinical supervision of allied health students and radiology aides.
