Job summary

Baptist Health Imaging is seeking a CT Tech to support our imaging department. The role involves performing CT procedures, processing images, and collaborating with surgeons and oncologists to optimize patient care.

This PRN position supports day shifts and requires strong attention to safety and patient communication. Qualified candidates will have an Accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT Registry, Kentucky license, and an ARRT CT credential within one year.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT Registry.
• Current Kentucky license for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of related radiology experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs CT procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains medical ethics.
• Recognizes various patient conditions to provide appropriate patient care and ensure exam success.

Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. Key Responsibilities:

• Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.

• Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.

• Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.

• Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Shift: PRN, Days

Requirements:

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology

• Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry

• Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy

• Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one (1) year of hire

• 3 Years of related experience

• Current BLS Certification
