Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to join our imaging team. You will perform CT procedures, ensure image quality and patient safety following ALARA standards, and provide after-hours coverage.

This role requires ARRT RT(R), CT certification, Florida licensure, BLS, and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Experience is not required; 6 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT Registration RT (R) with advanced CT certification.
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• No experience required; 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for patients requiring CT procedures.
• Operates CT equipment and sets factors to produce diagnostic images with the ALARA standard.
• Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling.
• Takes on-call as assigned for after-hours high-volume coverage.
• Relays images and clinical information to the physician for interpretation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides care for patients requiring CT procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing CT for diagnostic procedures and guidance for interventional procedures in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date
