Job summary

North Central Surgical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures under radiologist supervision. The role operates CT and X-ray equipment and PACS, delivering high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an AS degree or AMA-approved radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, Texas license, CPR, and 2–5 years CT/MRI experience. Excellent communication and independent judgement are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or AMA-approved radiologic program graduate.
  • 2–5 years CT and MRI experience.
  • Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • Texas license as Medical Radiologic Technologist - General.
  • AART CT advanced certification.
  • CPR current.
  • 3–5 years CT experience preferred.
  • IV power injector experience.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission regulations.
  • Independent decision making and prioritization of multiple patients.
  • Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

North Central Surgical Center is seeking a qualified CT Technologist:

Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing imaging equipment while providing quality care to patients of all ages.

The ideal candidate will perform quality Computerized Tomography (CT) diagnostic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, at a technical level requiring constant attention to technical detail and in a timely manner. Operates CT, X-ray equipment and PACS. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative. Recognizes the purpose of this service is to provide high quality CT, and X-ray imaging and to prioritize the patient as number one.

  • CPR Current.
  • Would like Tech to have 3-5 years’ experience in CT
  • IV Skill set and experience with a power projector.
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
  • Must possess independent decision making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple patients if/when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
