Job description

We are seeking a PRN CT Technologist. The PRN CT Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality CT lab studies and ensuring successful patient recovery in a friendly environment, with scheduled timely and accurate reporting. The role supports the CT Laboratory Manager/Lead CT Technologist in the operation of the CT Lab.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The following major responsibilities are not all-inclusive and additional duties may be assigned as needed:

1. Assist in the operation of the CT lab to ensure high-quality studies, excellent patient and physician satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
2. Provide direct patient care as a PRN CT Technologist to support continuity of services and assist the CT Laboratory Manager/Lead CT Tech and physicians.
3. Support patient care and ensure all CT lab services are of high quality.
4. Ensure CT lab testing results are reported accurately and promptly.
5. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual quality control functions.
6. Correlate CT findings with other modalities periodically to ensure quality control.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Associate’s degree in a clinical or scientific field.
• Clinical registration as an RT(R)(CT) by the ARRT with cardiac CT experience.
• Active Florida radiologic license and experience as a staff CT Technologist.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Good working knowledge of cardiac care and general office procedures.
