We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team! We are seeking a PRN CT Technologist based in our midtown Charlotte office. Successful candidates:

• Completed an accredited CT education program.
• Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT; maintains compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, plan ahead, show initiative, possess excellent communication skills and work effectively on a team.
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and operates CT equipment per physician instructions and positions patients to capture appropriate images. Provides coverage for GE 64 slice Computed Tomography scanner.
• Administers IVs and contrast media as directed and per protocol.
• Provides for the psychological and physical needs of patients for CT scans.
• Scans all patient age ranges including pediatrics.
• Follows proper safety procedures regarding radiation.
• Understands and uses the PACS system.
• Maintains related information in patient EHR/EPM (Nextgen) charts with proper coding.
• Orients new technologists.
• Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
• Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
• Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
• Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.
