Job summary

Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and contrast injectors, delivering diagnostic imaging with compassion and precision.

Responsibilities include performing CT procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining quality standards while collaborating with the Radiology team. Applicants should have ARRT registration, radiologic technology degree, 2+ years CT experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be ARRT registered.
• Minimum of 2 years experience, with 1 year in CT.
• Advanced CT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment, power injectors, and other medical equipment to produce scans.
• Provides quality care to patients receiving diagnostic/interventional radiology procedures.
• Communicates patient needs and responses through verbal and written correspondence.
• Assists with planning multiple diagnostic procedures in appropriate time sequence.

Description

• Operates CT equipment, power injectors, and other medical equipment to produce scans (x-rays) for diagnostic and invasive procedures.
• Provides quality care to the patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Communicates patient needs and responses through appropriate verbal and written correspondence.
• Assists with performing and planning multiple diagnostic procedures in appropriate time sequence.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and at a minimum be registered with the ARRT.
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience, with one (1) year in CT.
• Advanced certification in CT preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
