Job summary

Medical City Argyle Surgical Hospital, a campus of Medical City Denton, seeks a CT Technologist for PRN shifts (6 am–3 pm). You will aid and position patients on the CT table, start IVs for contrast, assess image quality, and ensure safety.

The role includes performing X-ray and CT procedures and maintaining strict aseptic technique. Qualifications include 1+ year CT/X-ray experience, ARRT certification and BLS within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• CT and X-ray experience in a hospital setting.
• ARRT- or state-registered radiologic technologist.
• BLS completed within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate or higher degree in radiologic technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast as needed.
• Assess image quality and adjust techniques for optimal results.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Maintain aseptic technique and clean/sterilize equipment between cases.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform X-ray and CT procedures as assigned.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Will be doing X-Ray and CT

What qualifications you will need:

• 1+ year(s) of CT and X ray experience required; hospital experience preferred.
• Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, or State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
