Job summary

Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, administer IV contrast, and ensure high-quality imaging. You will coordinate images for PACS, follow radiation safety protocols, and support a patient-centered imaging service under Radiologists.

You will participate in technologist training, maintain equipment, and uphold the SHC mission of exceptional patient experience through C-I-CARE standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year of progressively responsible and related work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform complex diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administers IV contrast per department policy.
• Maintains and operates CT equipment and accessories.
• Reports problems to supervisor promptly.
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality and labels images.
• Transmits exams to PACS and prepares patients for imaging.
