Job summary

HCA Florida Northside Hospital in Pinellas County seeks a Florida-licensed CT Technologist for a full-time on-site position. You will perform CT exams across multiple body regions, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists. The role requires ARRT CT certification, active Florida licensure, and BLS.

You will operate CT scanners, injector systems, and teleradiology tools, while maintaining image quality and patient care. On-call duties may be required per department needs.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology at an AMA-approved institution.
• Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
• Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) is active.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to perform work requiring standing, bending, lifting up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Select proper technical factors and perform diagnostic CT examinations.
• Demonstrate operational knowledge of CT scanner and related equipment.
• Assist in administration of contrast media and related procedures.
• Position patients ensuring modesty and safety.
• Document clinical information and obtain informed consent in MEDITECH.
• Obtain high-quality CT images for interpretation.
• Stay proficient with software protocols and updates.
• Maintain communication with patient and radiologist.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed.
