Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a CT Technologist to operate multi-detector CT scanners, evaluate anatomy, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety. The role supports education, research, and clinical leadership within Diagnostic Imaging.

Candidates should have a JRCERT-accredited education, ARRT CT registry or equivalent, and BLS certification. This on-site position involves direct patient care across age groups in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT accredited school of radiologic sciences.
• CT Technologists must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging and have an ARRT (CT) registry; if not, ARRT (R)/(N)/(RT) with CT experience and CT certification within 6 months.
• BLs certificate within 30 days of hire or prior to independent practice.

Responsibilities

• Operates multi-slice CT scanners to perform exams with accuracy and efficiency.
• Evaluates anatomy and related pathologies for presentation to Radiologist.
• Adheres to ALARA and minimizes radiation dose while maintaining image quality.
• Prescreens patients for contrast sensitivity and manages contrast injections.
• Verifies imaging order and protocols in the EMR and properly labels images.
