Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients, explain procedures, position for scans and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images.

Role requires familiarity with IV procedures, contrast media, radiation safety, patient monitoring and image quality principles.

An associate degree and CT certification (ARRT-CT) are required or in progress; Basic Life Support within 30 days of start; two years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• ARRT-CT certification preferred or in progress.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain procedures.
• Position patients to obtain optimal CT images.
• Operate CT equipment to create cross-sectional images.
• Demonstrate knowledge of IV procedures, contrast agents, and dose optimization.
• Maintain radiation safety and monitor patient condition during scans.
