Qualifications

• ARRT certified or eligible.
• MIRT license required/eligible.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Positions and immobilizes patient on procedure table per Radiologist protocols.
• Administers contrast orally and intravenously.
• Enters data: scan type, slice thickness, scan time, and other data.
• Views images on video display to ensure quality.
• Evaluates radiographs and computer data for quality.
• Demonstrates new techniques and equipment to staff.
• Implements radiation safety measures per government requirements.
