Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging and provide compassionate patient care to support radiologists in accurate diagnoses.

You will acquire cross‑sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and organs, while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. The role emphasizes image quality, workflow knowledge, and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required at hire.
• Medical Radiographer credential—TX required at hire.
• CPR/BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ARRT Registered Radiography required at hire.
• ARRT Computed Tomography registration to be completed within 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams per departmental protocols under Medical Director supervision.
• Prepares equipment to ensure operational, safe, and standards-compliant performance.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and coordinates with service representatives for repairs.
• Maintains daily equipment and room readiness and follows infection control standards.
• Completes quality checks and maintains imaging equipment logs and inventories.
