Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Cary, NC is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. You will operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that support patient care and treatment decisions, working closely with radiologists and clinicians.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program, ARRT Radiography and CT registrations (or equivalent imaging credentials), and preferred clinical imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Computed Tomography program.
• ARRT Radiography and CT registrations (or equivalent imaging credentials) required.
• Clinical imaging experience is preferred.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Dedicated to compassionate patient care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images according to orders and protocols.
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and provide support for a positive experience.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and condition during procedures and communicate concerns.
• Operate, adjust, and maintain CT imaging equipment following safety standards.
• Accurately document patient and imaging information and support workflow efficiency.
