Job summary

Trinity Health Hospital Campus & Medical District in Minot, ND seeks a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging per physician orders and protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires strong technical skills and independent clinical judgment in a fast-paced imaging department.

You will work with radiologists and the imaging team, initiate IV access for contrast, operate CT scanners, document charges in the HIS, and uphold radiation safety and infection control

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or registry eligible
• NDMIRTBE licensed (Temporary, Active/Current, or Conditional)
• Specialized CT training on the equipment used in the CT area
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to start IVs (Venipuncture) for contrast administration
• Proper charging of procedures by hospital information system
• Ability to adapt and learn new protocols with new equipment
• Understands CT Physics and can modify protocols for various patient types
• Able to operate physiological monitoring equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures using established protocols, adjusting imaging techniques to meet patient and diagnostic needs while ensuring optimal image quality.
• Initiate and manage IV access for contrast studies, monitor patient responses, and follow safety protocols for adverse reactions.
• Operate and troubleshoot CT scanners and related monitoring equipment, escalate technical issues, and assist with protocol optimization.
• Maintain accurate documentation, patient information, and charge capture in the hospital information system.
• Uphold radiation safety, infection control, and compliance standards while providing safe, high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with radiology staff and assist other imaging areas during high volume or urgent cases.
