Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure: ARRT registered or registry eligible; MA licensure; CT certification within 12 months; BLS certification.
• Proficient in cross sectional anatomy and CT scanners; venipuncture.
• One year trauma setting experience; RIS/PACS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and documents necessary patient information/history to perform exams.
• Documents IV/oral contrast usage and allergy information in medical records.
• Performs CT exams with high accuracy and uses RIS with accuracy.
• QC exams using PACS and evaluates images for diagnostic purposes.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and on-call rotations.
