Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform CT imaging procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT CT certification or eligibility, ARRT Radiography (R), BLS, and a state license where applicable. Experience with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems is preferred. On-site hospital setting in California with emphasis on ALARA and patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited program.
• ARRT CT certification or active CT eligibility.
• ARRT Radiography certification (R) and BLS certification.
• State license where applicable and fluoroscopy certification as required by facility.
• Venipuncture and fluoroscopy certifications preferred or required by state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate CT equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media when required and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure complete imaging and transfer images to PACS for radiologist review.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR, RIS, and PACS.
• Follow ALARA, HIPAA, and infection control policies.
• Perform routine QA, equipment maintenance, and report issues.
